Invisibility(ies) is a series of conversations broadcast via YouTube Live. Each conversation had an average of 20 live and interactive viewers. The conversations were with 3 to 4 collaborators exploring the idea of being invisible in society, family, and the world.
The conversations juxtapose multiple voices, inspiring deepened understanding and empowering marginalized communities and amplifying their voices while encouraging broader audiences to question existing power dynamics and imagine alternative inclusive futures.
To date, topics discussed include family and grief; race, gender, identity, and trauma; mental health, mental illness, and its stigma, geopolitical immigration, queerness; body, body image, how the body is perceived by the hetero-norm Western society; and disability as an invisibility. Many of the collaborators invited are artists and used their artistic practice as a point of departure in the discussions.
