Are you a birth/first mother?
ISO women or folx––living in or around Los Angeles––who have placed a child or infant for adoption to participate in a video art project by artist, adoptee, and art therapist Nicole Rademacher. Ideal participants will be comfortable sharing about their experience and making art. The final piece will be a series of short experimental portraits. Below is an example of previous video work by Nicole Rademacher.

Eligibility for participation:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You must have relinquished a child for adoption.
  • You must be willing to participate.
  • You must be able to commit to 2 meetings (one via Zoom (1hr) and one in-person (2hr)) during May-June 2022.
  • You must live in or around Los Angeles, CA, USA.
